Case Study: RHEMA MENA — Designing a Region-Wide Cloud Ecosystem for a Multi-Nation Christian Educational Institution

RHEMA MENA is an educational institution with a strong Christian foundation, operating campuses in two countries within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. With plans to expand into 22 nations, the institution identified a critical need to unify its fragmented operations into a single, modern enterprise software system capable of managing students, faculty, alumni, and the broader school community across multiple geopolitical environments.

This was seen as a foundational leap toward transforming RHEMA MENA into a digitally integrated, regionally scalable institution.

The Challenge

At the heart of the challenge was fragmentation of data, systems, and operations. As the school expanded its vision beyond its current campuses, it became clear that relying on outdated tools and localized manual processes would stifle growth and impact.

Without a scalable digital solution, the institution risked hitting a ceiling in both operational capacity and student engagement.

Key challenges included:

  • Absence of a centralized platform for managing student records, admissions, academics, and community interactions.
  • The need for localized configurations per country without disrupting system consistency.
  • Legacy software that couldn't support cross-border operations, reporting, or scalability.

RHEMAMENA

The RHEMAMENA app was built with the sole purpose of providing a seamless remote learning experience for every student of RHEMA Bible School in the MENA region who chooses to learn remotely.

Our goal was to create an experience that closely mirrors that of in-person classes, offering students the flexibility to study from anywhere without compromising quality. That's exactly what we designed, tested, and built—and the students embraced it with enthusiasm.

Mobile App

This mobile app was designed and developed to embody the core concept of the RHEMA Menda web application, which we built in the initial phase.

The goal was to ensure that students could enjoy a seamless learning experience right from their pockets. With this app, they can attend classes, work on assignments, and continue learning remotely on days when they can't be physically present—without the burden of needing a PC.

RHEMA CONNECT

This subsystem was created as the resources portal for RHEMA Subsidiaries.

Its purpose is to provide learning materials in a variety of formats and languages, promoting inclusion and diversity across the organization. Our task was to ensure that every individual feels welcomed, represented, and supported throughout their learning journey.
